A photo from the International Space Station shows Jabal Arkanu, a rare ring-shaped mountain formation in southeastern Libya's Sahara Desert. The photograph offers a clear and detailed look at this rare geological feature. Once thought to be meteorite impact sites, the circular structures were later confirmed by geologists to be naturally formed through Earth's geological processes, NASA reported.
