A controversy erupted after a video showed a family eating Jagannath Temple's Mahaprasad on a table in a resort in Puri. It showed a man confronting the family and purportedly asking the priest why it was allowed. Subsequently, the temple's authorities asked devotees not to go against the tradition, of eating Mahaprasad while sitting on the ground.
