VJD method is a method of calculating target scores in rain-truncated limited-overs cricket matches. It's devised by a civil engineer from Kerala, V Jayadevan. It's an alternative to the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern (DLS) method. The VJD method considers factors like lost overs and batting team’s current score while setting a target. The VJD system takes into account the statistics from previous games.
