A woman in Kerala's Aluva escaped an attempt on her life by her boyfriend who doused her in petrol. The man identified as Ali, attempted to take her life following an altercation. Ali confessed that he was angry on being blocked on the woman's mobile phone and being told not to visit her home. The woman's family said she's married.
