After a car exploded near the Red Fort in Delhi, the US Embassy issued an advisory asking its citizens to remain cautious. It asked citizens to avoid the areas surrounding the Red Fort, Chandni Chowk and stay away from crowded areas. "Monitor local media for updates and be aware of your surroundings," the advisory added.
