RITES Limited, firm under Railways Ministry, will export in-service diesel locomotives to South Africa for the first time from the end of this fiscal year, Chairman Rahul Mithal said. RITES has secured orders to export 18 in-service locomotives to South Africa after suitable modifications to suit the country's operational requirements. Notably, RITES has been exporting new locomotives.
