Former RJD leader and close aide of Lalu Prasad Yadav, Dularchand Yadav, was shot dead on Thursday in Bihar's Mokama. The incident occurred when clashes broke out between two groups during the election campaign. Yadav was campaigning for Jan Suraaj candidate Piyush Priyadarshi. He was shot in the chest and died on the spot. The police have launched an investigation.
