Haryana DGP OP Singh, while speaking about his traffic advisory, blamed engineers and drivers for 4,000 road accident deaths in the last 8-10 months. Stating that they leave behind young widows and orphaned children, he said, "The reason [for these accidents] is the same: engineering design faults, unaddressed blind spots, and drivers who don't handle the vehicle properly."
