Mahmoud Khalil, arrested for leading pro-Palestinian protests at Columbia University, was released from immigration detention after three months. The judge who ordered his release called his punishment unconstitutional. "Although justice prevailed, it's...long overdue," Khalil said. He can't travel internationally but his green card will be returned and he'll get limited travel permit within US.
