Bombay High Court ordered the demolition of seven floors of an eight-storey residential building of Shivanjali Co-operative Housing Society in Mumbai's Khar West. "The construction of the building beyond the first floor is patently illegal and unauthorised," the court said. The HC has asked BMC to demolish the 31-year-old building within three months and show compliance by January 6, 2025.
