A recent study by NordPass said Generation Z shows no real difference in password security compared to their grandparents. It found the most common password among those born in 1997 or later is "12345", which is weaker than almost every other generation's preferred choice. NordPass also reported a slight increase in the use of special characters in passwords this year.
