Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) incurred ₹102.58 crore loss due to floods, stated its report. The section that faced biggest loss was Upper Beas Diversion Channel (UBDC) hydel power project in Pathankot, recording ₹62.5 crore loss. Further, 2,322 distribution transformers worth ₹23.22 crore were damaged, while 7,114 electricity poles worth ₹3.56 crore were washed away/destroyed.
