Billionaire Goh Cheng Liang, who sold fishing nets during World War II and died in Singapore last month, made six of his eight grandkids billionaires by transferring 55% stake in Nippon Paints to them. Each of the grandkids, one of whom is an academic in US, now owns over $1.1 billion. Liang hasn't given any wealth to his own kids.
