An IIT Delhi report said that Delhi's winter atmosphere is climatologically unsuitable for consistent cloud seeding due to a fundamental lack of sufficient moisture and saturation, particularly during peak pollution months of December and January. "The necessary atmospheric conditions are rare," the report stated. Notably, cloud seeding, recently conducted in parts of Delhi, failed to bring rain.
