Russian President Vladimir Putin extended his wishes to PM Narendra Modi on his 75th birthday, praising his "enormous personal contribution" to strengthening India-Russia ties. Putin added that PM Modi has earned high respect of his "compatriots and enormous authority on the world stage" through his activities as head of government. PM Modi and Putin met last month at SCO summit.
