California is still counting its votes for the November 5 US Presidential Elections, of which Trump has been declared the winner, due to California's vast size and predominance of in-mail voting. In-mail votes require more time and effort to be verified compared to in-person votes. California also allows until December 1 to "cure" problem ballots from voters who made mistakes.
