Apple will raise prices of the next iPhone lineups as TSMC, the company that makes its chips, is planning to hike chipset prices by 8-10% next year, reports stated. This may affect chipsets fabricated below 5nm transistor technology, potentially making the manufacturing of all current iPhone models more expensive. TSMC’s 2nm chips could cost 50% more than their 3nm counterparts.
