NHS UK advises people to cut about 600 kcal from recommended daily intake of 2,500kcal for men and 2,000kcal for women to lose weight. Women can split 1,400kcal/day into 280 at breakfast, 420 each at lunch and dinner, and 280 for snacks/drinks. Men can divide 1,900kcal/day into 380 at breakfast, 570 each at lunch and dinner and 380 for snacks/drinks.
