External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said the world is moving towards an "era of self-help" while speaking at the 20th BIMSTEC Ministerial Meeting in Thailand on Thursday. "Every region needs to look out for itself, whether it's in food, fuel and fertiliser supply...or speedy disaster response," Jaishankar said. "Immediate neighbours have a salience much more than before," Jaishankar added.
