A Ghaziabad resident who has returned home from Syria recounted the situation in Damascus and thanked the Indian government for help. He said, "There is widespread panic. People are firing in the open road and bombarding." He said, "We saw how people from other countries were suffering...But because of Indian government, we didn't face any such kind of issue."
