Walt Disney, Universal and Warner Bros Discovery have jointly filed a copyright lawsuit against China's MiniMax. The suit alleges that the image and video-generating service Hailuo AI was built from intellectual property stolen from the three major Hollywood studios. Lawsuit against MiniMax shows "shared commitment to hold those accountable who violate copyright laws", read companies' statement.
