A Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) named Kanakalakshmi has been arrested in Bengaluru for allegedly abetting the suicide of a lawyer , officials said on Tuesday. The 33-year-old victim died by suicide after she was allegedly stripped and interrogated about in Karnataka Bhovi Development Corporation scam. The DSP allegedly demanded ₹25-lakh bribe and refused to accept her submitted documents.
