Nearly 100 women candidates fought the Delhi Assembly polls this year, out of which five - four from BJP and one from AAP, won in the election. The number is lowest in the last 10 years. The five candidates who emerged victorious in the election were - Delhi CM Atishi, Neelam Pahalwan, Rekha Gupta, Poonam Sharma and Shikha Roy.
