Indore Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargav's son, Sanghamitra, criticised the Centre during a debate competition. He questioned the Ahmedabad-Mumbai bullet train project and mocked the plan to upgrade 400 railway stations into “airport-like" hubs. MP CM Mohan Yadav reacted, saying that participants speak according to their assigned roles, and Sanghamitra was given the opposition, so he spoke like one.
