Klarna stopped hiring humans last year, CEO Sebastian Siemiatkowski told Bloomberg, adding that "AI can already do all the jobs that we as humans do". He added that the Swedish fintech will work to translate profits brought by AI's efficiency into more frequent pay raises for employees. On Klarna's website still advertising open positions, it said it's backfilling "essential roles".
