Uttar Pradesh Industrial Corridor Development Authority (UPEIDA) has imposed a ban on buying and selling of land around the proposed 74.3-kilometre-long Noida-Ganga link expressway. The move is aimed towards facilitating infrastructure development around the Noida International Airport. Around 56 villages, through which the expressway would pass, would be affected by the ban, according to reports.
