Pakistan on Tuesday assumed United Nations Security Council's (UNSC) rotating presidency for the month of July 2025. The presidency is part of Pakistan's two-year term as a non-permanent member of UNSC, which began in January 2025. The presidency rotates alphabetically among 15 members of the UNSC, which has five permanent members - China, France, Russia, UK and US.
