Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi on Tuesday wrote to West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, urging her to "refrain" from using the name 'Jagannath Dham' for the Jagannath Temple in Digha. "The name 'Jagannath Dham' holds a unique and sacrosanct identity linked to Puri," he said, adding, "Its usage in reference to any other temple...hurts the sentiment and emotion of millions."
