Italian journalist Cecilia Sala has been released after three weeks in an Iranian prison and is flying home, PM Giorgia Meloni's office said on Wednesday. The 29-year-old reporter was detained in Iran for "violating the laws of the Islamic Republic". She was detained days after Iranian businessman Mohammad Abedini was arrested in Milan on a US warrant.
