Maharashtra CM and Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde said that poll trends were in Mahayuti's favour because of the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana, one of his flagship schemes. "I thank all my ladki bahins (dear sisters)...and the brothers who voted in large numbers for us," Shinde further said. Women in the state get ₹1,500 per month under the scheme.
