Delhi's peak power demand hit 7,717 MW at 3.33 pm on Tuesday, which is the highest ever in the history of the national capital, DISCOM officials said citing State Load Despatch Center data. This comes as Delhi is witnessing heatwave conditions. The national capital's all-time highest peak power demand of 7,695 MW was recorded on June 29, 2022.
