Bangladesh's interim leader Muhammad Yunus praised his country's negotiators after US President Donald Trump revised their tariff to 20%. He said that the tariff is "comparable to [Bangladesh's] key apparel-sector competitors such as Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Pakistan and Indonesia". "By contrast, India received a 25% tariff after failing to reach a comprehensive agreement with the US," he added.
