As per new regulations, driving training centres require a minimum of 1-acre land (2 acres for four-wheeler) and should provide access to testing facility. Trainers must have a high-school diploma, minimum five-year driving experience and should be familiar with biometrics and IT systems. LMV training duration is 29 hours in four weeks and 38 hours in six weeks for HMV.
