BJP's Ludhiana candidate Ravneet Singh Bittu has claimed that he received a rent notice of ₹1.82 crore for his official residence hours before he was to file nomination for Lok Sabha polls. Bittu stated that he had to mortgage a part of his ancestral land to pay off the sum to get the no-due certificate needed to file his nomination.
