US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said India has been headstrong in trade deal negotiations with US. Speaking to Fox Business, Bessent said, "India has been a bit recalcitrant," hinting that US has been unable to easily make India agree to its terms. He added it's "aspirational" to think that US will wrap up tariff and trade deals by October-end.
