A man identified as Gagandeep Singh, alias Gagan, has been arrested for allegedly spying for Pakistan. Police said he allegedly gave information to Pakistan's spy agency ISI and Gopal Singh Chawla, a known Khalistani supporter based in Pakistan. He shared information about the Indian Army's movements during Operation Sindoor. He is a resident of the Tarn Taran district.
