NDA leaders reportedly said that large part of credit for Bihar's scheme to give ₹10,000 to women goes to Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma. Sarma said he sent his bureaucrats five months ago to Bihar on Nitish Kumar government's request. They made a presentation before officials on 'Jeevika ₹10,000 model', that was later incorporated into all-new Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana.
