Over ₹1 crore worth of gold ornaments and around ₹90 lakh in cash were recovered from the residence of Assam Civil Service (ACS) officer Nupur Bora in Guwahati. Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma said Nupur had been under surveillance for the last six months. She allegedly used to facilitate the illegal registration of government land for money upto ₹2 lakh.
