Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said on Monday that ₹10,000 crore has been sanctioned in the Union Budget 2025 for rail infrastructure in Bihar. "In the past 11 years, over 34,000 km of new railway tracks have been laid, and 1,300 stations are being redeveloped" in the country, he added. He also announced four new Amrit Bharat trains in Bihar.
