The MMRDA has greenlit projects worth over ₹12,000 crore to accelerate Metro expansion and improve transport systems across Mumbai. Key contracts were awarded for Metro Lines 4, 4A, and 6. L&T bagged the largest deal at ₹4,788 crore, while NCC and IRCON also secured major contracts for rolling stock, telecom, traction, and depot systems.
