The government informed the Rajya Sabha that its Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) shut down 91 phishing websites and 379 illegal loan apps hosting websites between October 2023 and May 2024. About 310 malicious domains were also made non-functional. Additionally, a cyber fraud reporting system under I4C saved ₹2,400 crore in over 7.6 lakh complaints.
