India's first Vande Bharat sleeper coach maintenance facility, being built in Jodhpur at a cost of ₹360 crore, will feature advanced simulators, AI-driven testing labs, and a three-tier inspection system. Designed to maintain up to nine trains daily, the state-of-the-art depot will enable high-precision maintenance with smart workshops, drop-pit tables, and wheel-turning systems by 2026.
