Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah announced an ex-gratia of ₹5 lakh each to the families of those who lost their lives after a truck rammed into a Ganapati procession in Karnataka's Holenarasipura on Friday night. "The government will also bear the medical expenses for the treatment of those injured in the incident," Siddaramaiah stated. Over 20 people were injured in the incident.
