The Supreme Court observed that a loosely drafted writ petition under Article 32 of the Constitution ought not to be entertained in the absence of requisite pleadings. It said that merely because a litigant barely pleads before the court that any of his fundamental rights has been breached, it would not entitle him to maintain a petition under Article 32.
