Access to social media platforms Instagram, Facebook and Snapchat is now restricted in Afghanistan, although Taliban has not officially confirmed it. While platforms like WhatsApp and X, are reportedly still functioning, journalists have reported extremely slow internet speed. This comes after Taliban had completely suspended internet and telecommunications services for nearly 48 hours last week.
