During the murder trial against former RPF Constable Chetansinh Chaudhary, a witness told court one of the victims begged for mercy before being shot twice by Chaudhary. "I believe in Allah, and I...believe in Bhagwan. They're one," victim Asghar Shaikh had said, as per the witness. Chaudhary killed three Muslim men and his senior on an express train in 2023.
