Air India defended the Boeing Dreamliner aircraft in its submission to the Public Accounts Committee (PAC), in the wake of the plane crash in Ahmedabad, said reports. The airline reportedly called it one of the safest aircraft in operation. It also informed the panel that over 1,000 Dreamliners are currently operating globally, reports added.
