US President Donald Trump privately urged his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, to step up strikes inside Russia, The Financial Times reported. "Volodymyr, can you hit Moscow?" Trump reportedly asked Zelenskyy on July 4, to which he replied, "Absolutely. We can if you give us the weapons." Trump has criticised Russian President Vladimir Putin for not finalising peace deal with Ukraine.
