Responding to a series of questions from the Opposition in Parliament, MoS External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh denied any US role in facilitating ceasefire between India and Pakistan, calling it a bilateral decision. He dismissed US President Donald Trump's repeated assertions as "baseless". He added that Kashmir is a bilateral issue not open to third-party mediation, including that of Trump.
