Rajinikanth-starrer 'Coolie' crossed ₹300 crore worldwide in three days, reported trade analyst Sumit Kadel, becoming first Tamil film to do so this year. With this, 'Coolie' surpassed lifetime earnings of 'Sitaare Zameen Par' with ₹267.34 crore and his previous film 'Vettaiyan' with ₹253.6 crore. The film also broke Vijay-starrer 'Leo' record, which reached the milestone in four days in 2024.
